Weekly · Straight upPick 8
Pick eight winners every week, straight up. Best record takes the week's pot. Simple to play, brutal to sweep.
How it plays
- Every open week, each player picks eight teams to win — no spreads, no confidence points.
- Games settle as they finish; the week's best record wins the pot for that week.
- Ties split the pot, or roll it into next week — league setting.
What you can configure
- Entry fee per week and pot split for ties
- Duplicate-team rule: prevent (can't submit), penalize (allowed, auto-loss, loud warning), or off
- Pick count — Pick 8 is a default, not a limit
Survivor · Last one standingKing of the Hill
One team a week. Win and survive; lose and you're a tombstone in the standings. Multiple entries, carryover chains, and weekly team exclusions supported.
How it plays
- Each entry picks one team per week to win. A loss eliminates the entry — permanently.
- Buy multiple entries and manage each one separately; the standings show every chain.
- If every remaining entry loses in the same week (a wipeout), your league policy decides: everyone comes back, or the pot splits among that week’s casualties.
What you can configure
- Entries per player, and re-buy windows if your league allows them
- Team reuse per entry: prevent, penalize, or off (the "Florida Charlie" rule has a home here)
- Weekly team exclusions — e.g. KOH III bars the two conference leaders each week, greyed out on the pick screen with an explanation
- Wipeout resolution: everyone-back or split-the-pot
Reverse survivorBottom of the Barrel
The mirror image: pick a team to lose. Sounds easy until your lock of the week pulls off the upset and your name gets crossed out.
How it plays
- Each week, pick one team you expect to lose. If they win, you’re out.
- Everything else works like survivor — entries, eliminations, wipeouts — just upside down.
- Your elimination row shows the fatal pick all season. The league remembers.
What you can configure
- All survivor settings apply: entries, reuse rules, wipeout policy
- Tie handling: does a tie survive or eliminate? Your league, your rule
